The Organic Pharmacy was founded in 2002 by husband and wife team Margo and Francesco Marrone. Margo has a background in pharmacy and homeopathy whilst Francesco’s experience lies in graphic design. Margo started her career as a pharmacist specialising in herbal medicine, nutrition and well-being. Whilst studying homeopathy several years later, Margo became shocked by the level of poisonous pesticides used in food and the questionable ingredients used in cosmetics. With this, she decided to use her herbal, homeopathic and pharmaceutical knowledge to create a shopping haven offering honest expert advice with effective products, free from chemicals using only the very best organic ingredients. Francesco used his creativity and design skills to turn Margo’s vision into a modern day health and beauty centre, 15 years ago their first store on the Kings Road was born and remains their flagship to this day.
The brand combines high-tech, medical-grade natural ingredients with the principles of homeopathic medicine to deliver balanced health and beauty treatments and products. Hand blended in their own London factory to ensure superior quality and exquisite texture, The Organic Pharmacy focuses on using the best organic ingredients, giving honest expert advice, an unrivalled quality of service and a caring environment. It is a multi-award winning British Brand that really delivers the very best results – naturally.
Over the past 15 years the brand has expanded from skincare and supplements to cosmetics and fragrance and each store offers health and beauty treatments along with expert homeopathic advice. They have built up a firm celebrity fan base which continues to grow from International A-List Ac-tors, Actresses to Supermodels. Fans include Gwyneth Paltrow, Miranda Kerr, Emma Watson, Kate Beckinsale, Katy Perry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jourdan Dunn and Kylie Minogue.
The Organic Pharmacy was the realisation of my dream: to bring under one roof expert health and homeopathic advice using only the best organic herbs and supplements. At first I thought I was the only fanatic out there but as soon as our doors opened I realised there were many people just as passionate as I was about all things organic, who wanted to live a healthy lifestyle and use only pure, toxin-free products.
